Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a machine operator to join a busy manufacturing company in Ferndale! Compensation:

• Starting at $18-$24.82/hour, depending on experience. +$0.50/HR differential for swing shift- pay increase after probationary period

Shift:

• Monday - Friday, 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm

Location:

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Operate production machinery within standard operating procedures,
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements
• Adhere to product constructions (materials, machinery setup, machine operation)
• Maintain a clean work area
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot production machinery.
• Perform equipment change-overs. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use and during machine setups.
• Maintain and transport material supply, adhering to manufacturing principles.
• Responsible for quality control.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Complete production tickets and other required paperwork.
• Participate in process improvement programs.
