Location: Whatcom County

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Salary: $80,000 annually

易 What You’ll Do:

As our Quality Technician lead, you’ll be a key player in our food safety and quality operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining our Food Safety & Quality Plans.
• Overseeing the SQF System and communicating standards across departments.
• Managing supplier certifications and ingredient compliance (including Kosher).
• Reviewing COAs, conducting internal audits, and supporting HACCP initiatives.
• Collaborating with R&D, Production, and Purchasing to ensure new products meet our standards.
• Monitoring industry trends and reporting regulatory updates.
• Supporting facility testing, calibrations, and customer communications.

️ What You Bring:

• Food Safety, Quality, HACCP, and PCQI Certifications (required)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Google Docs, flow-charting)
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a production environment with appropriate attire (non-slip shoes, secured hair, etc.)

 Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Net Weight Trending
• Familiarity with facility testing (Water, Pathogen, Allergen, Gluten, Air, pH)
• Training and matrix revision experience
