Production Technician - $20.00

Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon is proud to partner with a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and other barriers to achieve full participation in community life. We are currently recruiting a Production Technician to support the organization’s inclusive manufacturing operations. As production requirements vary, this position will be called upon to fulfil needs as they occur in various areas within the Production Department. On a daily basis, you will get to perform tasks in bonding fabrication and assembly. 

What you get to do:

• Perform daily assigned tasks as directed by Bonding Lead
• Prepare surfaces by sanding and/or cleaning
• Periodically assist with required paint touchups
• Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings and specifications
• Be familiar with the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and their location, for chemicals used in the performance of assigned work
• Ensure that all assigned work is done according to established quality standards.
• Attach appropriate labels or tags to products and package
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and assist in the monitoring of daily shop clean-up, as assigned by Bonding Lead
• Work safely, report potential hazards and follow company safety standards
• Other duties as assigned 

What you need to be successful:

• Able to read and translate engineering drawings
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and work on sequential work routines
• Ability to efficiently meet the expected quality and quantity of the assigned job
• Ability to work independently

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Pay: $20.00
