Shipping and Receiving Coordinator - Temporary Position - Monday - Friday - $20.00 - $25.00 (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon specializes in connecting hardworking individuals with exceptional companies. We’re currently looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join the team at a successful metal fabrication company in Mount Vernon.

We are seeking a temporary Shipping Documents Clerk to assist with preparing shipping documents for our customers in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. As a shipping and receiving coordinator you get to interact with the sales, accounting, and production departments. 

What you get to do:

• Prepare pallet labels for LTL shipments using MS Word
• Prepare domestic parcel shipping documents using UPS online shipping interface
• Prepare domestic LTL shipping documents using FedEx online shipping interface or Echo Global (3PL) online shipping interface
• Prepare international parcel, LTL, or LCL shipping documents, including import/export customs documents, using appropriate application and/or web interface 

What you need to be successful:

• Strong computer proficiency
• Strong MS Office proficiency
• Familiarity with web-based shipping applications and shipping terminology
• Familiarity with import/export documents
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM 

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 (DOE)
