Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is recruiting production assembly associates for a busy manufacturing company in Bellingham. This is a special 4-week project that offers 3-day weekends. The right person for this role can lift up to 50lbs, be reliable, and work well independently. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain new skills for their resume and earn extra cash after the new year!

Pay: Earn $19.15 per hour

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm

Position Type: Temporary

Location: Bellingham, WA

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

-Follow drawings and other requirements and instructions to assemble components and build

complete units

-Inspect and perform quality checks and verify specifications of products and parts

-Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures

-Train in and perform all tasks conducted by the team and rotate through one or all tasks in the

production process

-Collect all material and equipment needed for the current process

-Grind and smooth edges to complete a quality product

-Identify and report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts or materials

-Package finished products

-Keep records of production quantities and time

-Sweep and otherwise clean work area

-Maintain good safety habits and practices and follow all safety guidelines

-Use torque wrenches, measurement devices, screwdrivers, and other hand tools

-Use power drivers, drills, riveters, cutters, and other power tools

-Participate in continuous improvement activities

-Comply, encourage, and support all safety rules and regulations

-Maintain clean work area

-Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate
