Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Millwright for a local manufacturing company in Sumas! Pay: $31.81-$40.15 per hour to start 

Position Type: Direct Hire

Location: Sumas, WA

Shift: 12-hour shifts- Monday through Sunday with rotating days off.

Shift Time: Rotating days and nights

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Maintain smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshooting specific industrial equipment by using precise measuring and testing instruments.
• Dismantling and reassembling of equipment using hand and power tools.
• Inspecting and assessing wear and remaining useful life of various power transmission components.
• Utilizing Maximo, a computerized maintenance management system.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with the company’s procedures, rules, and regulations.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Millwright.
• 3 years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment
• Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals
• Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software
• Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment
