Black Iron/MIG Welder needed! 4-day work week!
Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is hiring a MIG Welder for a company in Bellingham! This company offers competitive benefits and a 4-day work week! The right person for this role would be dependable, hardworking, and looking for growth!
Pay:
- $21.50/HR to $23.00/HR DOE
Schedule:
- Day Shift
6:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Thursday
Location:
- Bellingham, WA
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials
- Processing iron jobs with hydraulic cutter/punch, and multiple saws
- Interpret engineering drawings to determine the appropriate welding process
- Visually inspect welds to specifications
- Accurate and timely entry of hours worked on jobs assigned
- Maintain accurate inventory on raw materials, notify the lead when time to order
- Operate cold saw/bandsaw
Requirements
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the welding field
- Proficient with MIG welding equipment
- Ability to identify materials and select appropriate filler metal
- Proficient in the use of power and hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols
- Proficient in welding equipment
