Welder needed! 4-day work week!

Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is hiring a TIG Welder for a company in Bellingham! This company offers competitive benefits and a 4-day work week! The right person for this role would be dependable, hardworking, and looking for growth!

Pay:

• $19.00/HR to $23.00/HR DOE

 

Schedule:

• Day Shift

  6:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Thursday

 

Location:

• Bellingham, WA

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Fit, assemble, and weld sheet metal assemblies using hand tools and welding equipment
• Operate GTAW, GMAW, and RSEW welding machines, air and electric powered hand tools, non-powered hand tools, 2-ton overhead hoist
• Interpret engineering drawings and work instruction documents to determine appropriate assembly and welding process
• Visually inspect completed welds guided by AWS D9.1 sheet metal welding code
• Use belt sanders, abrasive-charged wheels, fixtures, foot or hand presses, files, scrapers, and other tools as required
• Inspect completed work for acceptable aesthetic finishes, grain, and sharp edges
• Use production software to track work, report parts used, any scrap created, and report completed quantities accurately
• Determine speeds, feeds, and operation sequence or set up pursuant to speeds, etc., from drawings or other written specifications

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in welding
• Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols
• Proficient in welding equipment
• Ability to weld mild steel and 7 up to 14-gauge stainless steel
