Maintenance Technician for a locally owned farm in Everson. 3-day weekends every week! Direct Hire Placement!
Express Employment Professionals in hiring a Maintenance Technician for a very well-known farm in Everson. This company offers year-round work with a family feel of synergy and teamwork!
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 DOE per hour to start with regular pay increases
Shift: Monday – Thursday -10-hour shifts with a flexible schedule
Position Type: Direct Placement
Location: Everson, WA
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Ability to perform measurements of AC and DC voltage, resistance, amperage, and similar electrical power attributes, and perform continuity checks.
-Install, wire, and troubleshoot control devices, proximity sensors, switches, counters, relays, and VSD's.
-Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repair on three-phase motors and control circuits.
-Mechanically and electrically installs processing and packaging systems per work orders and specifications from Engineering. Supports equipment startup efforts of projects including operator training, operation instructions, and safety procedures.
-Be responsible for all PMs and adding to our current schedule.
-May also be required to do monthly checks involving pest management and other various duties.
-May help in production in case of an emergency
-Will be responsible for overnight emergency calls on a rotating schedule with the manager.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in hands-on industrial electrical maintenance work.
-Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting and repair of electrical motors, controls, and PLCs.
-Minimum formal education required, high school diploma or GED.
-Able to work daily and weekend overtime hours as needed.
-This job has no formal supervisory responsibilities but is expected to lead and guide other maintenance personnel in performing electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Experience:
-2 years of experience in hands-on industrial electrical maintenance work.
